"BLAND COUNTY MINISTRY CENTER"

The WMU is collecting gently used clothing for men, women, and children of all ages.  They are also in need of usable household goods for homes that are in need of repair. Next delivery date to be announced.

ANNUAL PROJECTS:       

RACEWAY MINISTRY - In the spring and the fall, we supply homemade cookies to Raceway attenders and workers.

BLOOD DRIVE - Twice each year, the church hosts a blood drive with Virginia Blood Services.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child is one of the largest projects that New Bethesda undertakes each year.

BLUEFIELD COLLEGE PROJECT

     Updating several 50+-year-old houses for married students is a huge project which involves many members of New Bethesa.  Taking place in early summer, different groups go each year, led by our own Bluefield alumni Leroy Williams. 

STATE FAIR WORKERS -Hospitality bags prepared for workers with socks and toiletry items

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST - Churchwide project collects school suppliesfor needy famlies in our comunity.
